A
Couple of Case Reviews
3:32 PM EST
Here are a couple of new case reviews for those of you looking to build
a new computer on your own:
Anand Tech has posted up a very
information article
on the performance of Intel's i820 chipset when using SDRAM. Here
is a bit from the article:
We've said it
before and we'll say it again, the BX platform is still the most
attractive platform in terms of stability and performance for the
newer Pentium IIIs based on the Coppermine core. Even with SDRAM the
i820 loses its appeal because of the heavy performance penalties
associated with using a MTH in order to gain SDRAM support.

chipset vs. the i820 (ASUS P3C2000) and both of VIA's new chipsets 693a
